Multi-Factor Authentication for Admin Users
WorkZerk requires all Admin users to login using MFA (multi-factor authentication) using a one-time password via any TOTP (Time Based One Time Password) compliant applications such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
This means that in order to access the Admin area of WorkZerk, when you login you will need to scan a QR code using your phone to generate a one-time password. Once logged in, you should be able to use WorkZerk for about 7 days before needing to reauthenticate.
The most popular applications in Australia for MFA are listed below (you can use any of these).
WorkZerk recommends and supports using Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator because they are both free, lightweight and work offline (they can both generate passwords offline).
We also recommend using the logout feature contained in the left hand side navigation menu to logout of WorkZerk after you have finished using. If you logout this way, you will be prompted for your email address and password, together with MFA the next time you login.
