Import Contact Tags

Contact Tags can now be imported using a CSV file within 1pm.

Previously, it was not possible to import multiple tags when executing a CSV import operation, tags had to be added manually to imported Contacts and Guests.

Now you can simply add up to 30 tags into the ‘Tags’ column in your CSV file, and if these Tags exist in the WorkZerk Space, they will be added as Contact Tags automatically.

For the Tags field these can be separated by any of these characters (slash, comma, colon, dash) e.g. 'VOLUNTEER / PHOTOGRAPHER / MEDICALTEAM' where this is an existing Tag name.

If the Tag does not exist in WorkZerk, a warning message will be displayed during the import process after checking, and before committing the records.

Guest Tags will populate from the Contact to the Guest record during this process.

For example, if you added two tags to the CSV in the Tag Column ‘Photographer/Volunteer’ then WorkZerk would create a new Contact Record with two Contact Tags.

If you also checked the box ‘+ Also add Guest’ then WorkZerk will create a new Contact with those two new tags, and a new Guest record will inherit the Contact Tags automatically.

Those tags (between the Contact and Guest record) and now independent from each other.

So if you edit the Guest Tags, the original Contact Tags will remain intact.
