Scheduled, Onboarding, Routine & Triggered Work
WorkZerk allows Admins to add Work to any portal, together with Compliance at each step.
Onboarding or Induction Training can be setup within it’s own portal to onboard staff, contractors, volunteers, students — whoever your portal guests are.
Compliance can take the form of a checklist of tasks, opening a link, opening a document (image/pdf), uploading a document, signing using a mouse or gesture, agreeing to a declaration or getting Admin approval.
In WorkZerk there are four types of work which can be added to any portal and it even comes with a coole acronym to help you remember them (S.O.R.T.):
Scheduled
Scheduled work has a date and time, and produces a live runsheet and printed runsheet, and is typically used to plan events or work schedules. It’s ideal for sporting events, conferences, exhibitions and complex event planning involving many portal guests such as suppliers, locations & guests.
Onboarding
Onboarding Work can be added to any portal (or combined with other Work such as Scheduled) to ensure suppliers or contractors upload required documents, follow checklists etc.
Onboarding can be used to induct new staff, contractors or visitors to your worksite such as acknowledging safety hazards, submitting ID or other compliance tasks.
Routine
Routine Work allows you to setup periodic or recurring work tasks, and is ideal for any business to ensure business process and procedures are followed. Routine Work can be used to establish a maintenence program, and to ensure consistent work practices at your workplace or worksite.
Triggered
Triggered Work is work that needs to be done now. This is unpredictable Work that is required due to an event occuring such as a spill on the factory floor, a missing child at an event - anything you know might happen but needs to happen the right way.
Portal Guests can trigger Triggered Work from their portal at any time ensuring the right procedures are followed.
QR Code Sharing
Portal Guests can share the portal with anyone else by using the built-in QR codes if activated.
QR codes can be downloaded and used online, in emails or on physical signage at your worksite, workplace or event entry.
Print Work Schedule
Portal Guests can print the latest Scheduled Work (Runsheet) from the portal anytime as a backup.
Compliance
In WorkZerk multiple Compliance steps can be attached to any Work Item (Scheduled, Onboarding, Routine & Triggered).
This ensures that your workplace, worksite or event complies with procedure, regulation and safety requirements everywhere and for everyone (whether they are staff, contractors, visitors, volunteers or guests).
Checklist
Quickly build a text based checklist at each Compliance step, which portal guests need to tick off to complete the step. Know that the correct procedure is always being following.
Open Link / Image / PDF
Ensure that portal guests open links to external applications, YouTube videos or other tasks such as completion of forms or surverys. Attach imagess and PDF documents to the compliance step for onboarding, training and procedural adherence.
Attach manuals or other important documents to procedure so portal guests always have the information they need at their fingertips.
Agree
Have a portal guest agree to a declaration, such as ‘I acknowledge the hazards’ or ‘I have watched the induction video’ or anything that you require as part of your compliance settings.
Sign
Insist upon the portal guest providing their signature by drawing on the their touch device, or using the mouse to sign the declaration.
Upload
Make sure that important documents are uploaded such as public liability certificates, identification or licenses.
Approve (Admin)
Finally, at each Compliance step associated with any type of Work, within WorkZerk you can ensure that an Admin user (Manager) has manually approved it (for example checking the expirty date on a certificate or it’s validity).
Incidents & Alerts
As a real-time platform, WorkZerk has your back with fully integrated live incident reporting and alerts.
Portal guests can submit incidents to Admins, and Admins can send portal wide alerts to specifically tagged guests, or to everyone including SMS notification within Australia or New Zealand.
Portal guests become your ears and eyes on the ground of your workplace or worksite, ensuring that incidents are reported in a timely manner, properlty records and action taken as required.
Portal Guest Management
Staff, Volunteers, Students, Visitors, Contractors etc.
Maintain the personal details of staff, volunteers, visitors, contractors, students, venues, performers, speakers, stallholders, exhibitors, external service etc. in one shareable central contact database.
Tags allow powerful categorisation of contacts e.g. ‘CONTRACTOR’, ‘EXHIBITOR’, ‘VOLUNTEER‘, ‘VISITOR’, ‘PHOTOGRAPHER’, ‘CATERER’ etc. or cohorts such as ‘SYDNEY-TEAM’.
Once Contacts are added to WorkZerk, they can be added to other Portals within the Space without the need to reenter contact details.
New Features
“As a professional corporate event photographer in Brisbane for 10 years, I frequently felt the frustrations event planners experienced using outdated runsheets and communicating with staff, volunteers & suppliers at major events.
There is nothing like it for keeping events running like clockwork!”
