Admin Add or Remove Guest Tags for Guests
Guest Tags are one or more Tags that can be applied to Guests for various classification purposes.
It’s important to remember that in WorkZerk Guest Tags are initially inherited from that Guest’s underlying Contact record.
When the Guest record is first added from a Contact, all the Guest Tags replicate as Guest Tags.
Once they have become Guest Tags though, they act independently from the Contact Tags and can be edited or deleted as required. You can think of the Contact Tags as the ‘Default Guest Tags’.
Editing Contact Tags after a Guest is created will not change the Guest Tags. Guest Tags are completely separate once they are populated.
What are Guest Tags Used for?
Guest Tags are used throughout WorkZerk:
Guest Tags are displayed next to the Key Contacts on the runsheet for everyone to see (unless they are flagged ‘Hide on Runsheet’ in the Tag record).

Guest Tags are also used when submitting an Incident, because a Tag can be selected to send an alert to Guests regarding the incident, for example sending an alert to all the Guests tagged with ‘MEDICAL’.
Work can also be restricted to just one Guest Tag, so Work and Compliance only appear for Guests tagged accordingly.
Assigning/Removing Guest Tags
When you add a new Guest from an existing Contact, Guest Tags will be created automatically from the existing Contact Tags.
You can then click on the Guest from Guest Tab to add or remove Tags as required.
WorkZerk will only show tags that are not already added.
Adding Tags
If you need to edit the master list of Tags, simply click on the Tags Tab to add/remove Tags.
